Exceptionally rare 1920's Egyptian revival necklace. Long strands of turquoise and silver glass beads with a curved motif to the end. The motif is made of diamond shapes covered in matching beads with three tassels hanging off the bottom. The back of the neckline has a matching rectangular shaped panel in the same beaded pattern. On the reverse is backed in a fine cotton to secure the beading into place.
The edges of the motif look like they are sadly missing beads but this could be rebeaded or hand sewn down to hide it, the strands of beads are fine but the cotton has stretched over the nears so restringing may help secure them.
This is extremely rare and I have only ever seen another like this in a museum exhibition on Egyptian revival items. Measures 32" long when worn so roughly 65" round.
