This is an amazing dress.
Original late Edwardian wedding dress which has been reworked in the late 1930's for the daughter's wedding.
Made in a soft net lace with satin worked lining and neckline detail it features short lace sleeves with added diamanté trims, wide neckline with satin and lace trimmed design. The bodice is straight fitted with pipes waistline and full length with train skirt. The front hem panel of the satin lining has been quilted to give it extra shape when worn with the over lace layer featuring added diamanté trims in places to highlight the floral pattern. It has 30 small self covered buttons down the back.
The dress has been lovingly worn over the years and unfortunately does have a few faults, there are marks in places on the satin and some tares to the lace, these could be hand sewn closed to easily hide them and worn as is or treated to a deep spot clean ( see photos )
