Rare original and iconic 1970's Biba cosmetics shop sign.
Made from a thick card it features the face of Biba girl Eva Molnar to the centre with the Biba name and logo below and the word " cosmetics " below that. It has a braided cord with long tassel ends to hang it by.
These signs can be seen in photos of the original Biba shops near the cosmetics counter ( see last photo ) and are an iconic and rare surviving piece. I have only ever owned two in 15 years!
Measures 59.5cm tall without the braid by 46.5cm wide.
In good condition there is some small marks to the front and back ( see photos ) but is perfect to be displayed or hung on a wall.
This will be sent via courier so it can be packed safely.
