Original 1940's / 1950's deep emerald green cotton velvet clutch bag. Oblong shaped body with single gold metal cord step to the top, hand strap to the reverse with metal thread work design to both the strap and front of the bag.
Single popper closure opens and closes the bag, inside is lined in a green silk with pockets both front and back and a small made in India label to the back.
This is in good condition, there is some ware and fade to the velvet ( see photos ) but is perfectly fine other than this.
Nice unusual original handbag.
