This is a fab dress.
Original 1920's dropped waist handkerchief hem dress.
Made in a silk crepe gorgette fabric it features long lace sleeves with scalloped cuffs, deep neckline with matching lace trim. Straight cut body with dropped waist, sash waistline and paneled handkerchief design over layer.
There is no fastenings simply pull over the head.
This is in good condition for its age but does have some damaged, there are some small holes in the lace sleeves which could be hand stitched to hide them, on the front of the body there are a few small holes and also on some of the handkerchief panels ( see photos ) this said the fabric is strong and not shattering so could be patched or worn as is.
This is perfect for any collector of original 1920's pieces.
