This is an incredibly rare original 1960s Catherine Buckley tapestry maxi waistcoat and skirt set! The same piece can be found in the V&A's archive ( minus the skirt! ) as shown in the last photo.
The design is very Biba with deep set armhole waistcoat, single large frog and eye design to the front and full body cut waistcoat fully lined in black.
The skirt is high waisted design with zip to the back and A-line in shape with lining throughout.
Both pieces have their original labels inside.
These don't come on the market hardly ever and is a great and rare example of British design. Perfect for any fashionista.
